Our Director's Service Address ensures your home address is invisible on the public record at Companies House. The service is offered free of charge in most of our company formation packages, during the first year of your company formation.
It is a legal requirement for every director, secretary, or person with significant control to make their Service Address publicly visible on Companies House.
A Service Address is a legally required official correspondance address for every director, secretary or person with significant control. Like the Registered Office address, the Service Address is also publicaly visible at Companies House.
The Service Address is typcally used by government bodies, such as Companies House, HMRC or the courts to communicate with each director. The Service Address does not need to be a home address, or from where you trade, and can be the same as the Registered Office address.
One of the requirements for the Service Address is that it must be a physical location, in the UK - so no mailboxes are allowed. You should only choose an address in the same jurisdiction where your company is registered e.g. England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland.

All packages, except for the Digital package, includes the Service Address service free of charge for the first year. The service is renewed (or can be purchased at any point after formation) at a cost of £19.95+vat per annum per director.
You can change your Service Address whenever you like after setting up your limited company You will need to update Companies house as soon as the addressis changed however.
The Service Aaddress service only supports mail from official government bodies, such as Companies House, HMRC or the courts. We do not accept business-related post to the Service Address.
When we receive post to the Service Address, we will open, scan and send the documents to you electroncially, so you remain on top of your important mail delivered by relevant official bodies.
